PSO2 New Genesis Shares New Details About Slayer Class and Big April Update in NGS Headline
In a recent NGS Headline, SEGA unveiled new information about the Slayer Class and April update for Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis. The Slayer Class, a ranged class utilizing the new Gunblade weapon category, will be introduced on April 12. It allows players to quickly chain various Actions and easily switch between Photon Arts abilities. When set as a Sub-Class, Slayer boosts certain Class Skills' Critical Hit Rate or provides bonuses upon landing a Critical Hit.
Starting April 5, players can obtain the new Gunblade weapon category via in-game drops or task completion. However, Gunblades can only be equipped and tasks from Instructor Slaine accepted on April 12, when Slayer is released. The Slayer Operation Prep Ticket Exchange shop will be added to the Item Trader on April 5, allowing players to trade for Gunblades, Weapon Camo, Special Scratch Tickets, and Arms Refiner II using Slayer Operation Prep Tickets.
Chapter 5, launching April 5, takes players to the "floating island" called Leceil, a massive structure seen hovering over the field. The long-hidden secrets of Halpha will be unveiled in this chapter.
PSO2: NGS will kick off its second anniversary celebrations early, starting with various events and activities at the end of April. Limited-time celebrations begin on April 19 and include:
