PUBG Invites Ezio And The Assassin’s Creed Gang To A Battle Royale Match
Ezio Auditore da Firenze will be dropping down into the battlegrounds of PUBG as Krafton and Ubisoft team up to bring Assassin’s Creed to the popular battle royale shooter. The cross-over event kicks off on August 17th and will run until September 22nd with new Assassin’s Creed cosmetics and items to earn and unlock, including costumes, bag skins, a parachute skin, a new emote, a gun charm, and spray items.
Krafton has yet to offer a preview of the said items but PUBG Mobile, with Ezio’s Assassin's Creed Brotherhood outfit and Shay’s outfit from Assassin's Creed Rogue up for grabs. It’s probably safe to assume that the PC version will feature the same outfits although we’ll have to wait on official confirmation from Krafton.
Assassin’s Creed-themed locations and resources will also be added to PUBG’s Haven map for a limited time during the event. One of the map’s main buildings will reportedly be taken over by Abstergo Industries, the multinational corporation that serves as a front for the Templar Order in the Assassin’s Creed games. Players will be able to initiate Leap of Faith jumps from strategically-placed locations on the building’s roof and can even go searching for the Animus machine hidden within its walls.
The event is presumably tied to the release of Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla’s roguelike Forgotten Saga DLC. Weirdly enough, I’m actually looking forward to running around PUBG’s maps as Ezio with a frying pan for a weapon.
We're happy to announce that 'Assassin's Creed' is ing the game for our August collaboration!
