The Cycle: Frontier Kicks Off Howler-Hunting And TikTok Video Community Event

One of the highlights of The Cycle: Frontiers latest season is the addition of a new flying monster aptly-named the Howler that now prowls the skies above Fortuna III. Now that Prospectors have had a chance to get acquainted with the flying menace, they’ll now get to hunt it down for a chance to have their names immortalized in the game as part of the extraction shooter’s Howlerbusters Challenge.

The first 100 players to kill the Howler in Bright Sands of Crescent Falls during the event will get to see their name go up on a permanent leaderboard. The first five to do so will also be featured in a future news post while the top 10 hunters will have their names permanently enshrined at the Prospect Station player hub. Everyone who manages to kill at least 10 Howlers during the event will also earn a special banner for their profile.

In addition to the Howler Hunt, the developers are also encouraging players to submit a TikTok video of their favorite Howler-related moments. The team will be choosing two of the best videos at the end of the event which will be showcased in an Twitch stream. The players who submitted the videos will also get to see their names alongside the top Howler hunters on the Prospect Station shrine.

The event will run until 2:59 p.m. PDT on April 30th which gives you less than two weeks to rack up those Howler kills. Details can be found on The Cycle: Frontier official site.
