The Cycle: Frontier Nerfs Weapons, Adds New Prospectors, And Re-Opens Tharis Island
With Season 3 of The Cycle: Frontier now underway the dev team is now moving on to the seemingly unending task of making sure that the game is as balanced as it can be. Players can expect various changes to their favorite weapons as the developers act on player , particularly those related to problematic weapons and their more powerful Mk II variants.
The said weapons have now been slightly nerfed, most of which have had their stats reduced across the board by just one point. The team promises more adjustments on the way as the meta stabilizes.
The extraction shooter’s latest update also brings back Tharis Island which will be accessible to players who complete certain faction quests. The alien forge on the island is a hotspot for gear lovers, offering new ways to apply perks to items. Unfortunately, players will no longer be able to change the rarity of their gear, but the new system is still a very welcome addition.
The update also introduces the final part of Badum's quest line, along with tweaks to the Crescent Falls map to make it less crowded. Two new prospectors, Artillery and Jungle Bandit, have also been added to the mix, on top of various gameplay changes and bug fixes.
